Math and logic puzzles from the passenger seat
I get to see my kids a few times a year. Everytime I do, they look so much different. One of my girls won a math and logic puzzle, first place, for her grade.
Here’s the one problem she didn’t solve in time: 5, 6, 11, 12, 14. Combine three of those numbers, using each of the three just once, to make 45. Anyone?
I don’t have an answer yet. Don’t care. I love watching my kids’ brains work diligently towards a goal.
I’m proud of her. She takes after me, pursuing math and logic.
I’m in the car now. My wife’s driving. I’m using the Wix app.
One of my other daughters feels particularly stumped. She also takes after me. She said that she might have to sleep on it because now and then, she gets her answers in dreams.
